FDB seeks higher market share

The Fiji Development Bank’s market share has fluctuated significantly in the last ten years.

The 2016 financial year recorded the lowest market share at only six percent which has set off alarms at the FDB.

Chief executive, Mark Clough says the Bank is putting its focus towards increasing its market share for the 2018 financial year.

“The first step in increasing our market share is by making ourselves more visible and more relevant not just to our customers but to the community in general. We have to back that up with better service levels.”

The FDB’s highest market share was recorded in 2007 which amounted to 13.8%.
