The Fiji Corrections Service will make a submission to the Constitutional Commission next week.
Commissioner of Corrections Lt Col Ifereimi Vasu has stressed to his officers the importance of participating in the formulation of Fiji’s new constitution.
Corrections officers have been instructed to voice their opinions in their respective divisions before a committee will draft a final copy for submission.
This comes after Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama urged all civil servants to make submissions.
Meanwhile – the Constitution Commission will be at the Nauori Catholic Hall from nine this morning to hear public submissions.
