With today being the last day for Christmas shopping, the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission has issued a stern warning to traders who continue to engage in unethical practices.
Chief Executive, Joel Abraham says those traders who think they are above the law, need to understand the Commission will come out hard on them.
Abraham says the law is simple and applies to everyone.
“The message that we have is clear: Traders must not take advantage of families and we expect traders will not try and take advantage of this busy period.”
The FCCC is urging traders to exercise best business practice and refrain from unethical behavior.
