The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commissions has completed 322 inspections related to the latest released LPG gas and fuel prices.

Commission acting Chief Executive, Seymour Singh says they haven’t received any complaints so far from the consumers regarding the implementation of the new prices.

“We have notices that post the announcement of fuels prices on Sunday that some of the small shops in the rural areas have failed to change their prices so the prices were effective from the 15th of October from midnight. Given that they were given verbal warning, the follow up inspections were done on Monday to ensure those prices have been observed has stipulated by the minister in his announcement”
