The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission has appointed Senikavika Jiuta as their General Manager Operations (GMO).

Jiuta is a lawyer and brings with her wealth of experience in competition and consumer protection law, business risk management, corporate governance, legal advisory and litigation.

Chief Executive Officer, Joel Abraham says her appointment comes at an opportune time as FCCC is undergoing immense transition in bench marking itself towards becoming a world class regulator.

She has previously served FCCC in various capacities and worked in a wide range of areas including Legal, Risk Management, Governance, pricing reviews and finance reviews.

She had also served as the FCCC Board Secretary and holds a Bachelor of Law and Professional Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of the South Pacific.
