FCCC and Westpac Bank conducted sessions

The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission with Westpac Bank today conducted sessions on the topic of Economic Sector at the Capacity Building Workshop in Suva.

More than a hundred female entrepreneurs attended the workshop which is aimed at empowering women and promoting gender equality.

Minister for Women Mereseini Vuniwaqa says the two days’ workshop focuses on three areas which are social, economic and political empowerment.

“The objective of this capacity building workshop is to allow the participants to understand their rights and responsibilities, to raise awareness in stimulating actions in addressing social issues within communities”
