Fiji Building Designers Association will be setting up a panel to monitor its registered members.

Association president, Shailendra Mudliar says the panel will have information on registered members and will closely monitor their work.

Mudliar says if the panel receives any complaints against its members they will de-register them.

“Once they are registered then we will be having a monitoring system whereby a panel will be looking after them. If there is any complaint they can report the matter to this panel and we can go back to them and if there is an issue then we can de-register them. After de-registration they won’t be able to operate. We will be doing a lot of exercises like this so that there is no issues with the services provided.”

Mudliar says a workshop will be organized to create awareness among the members.
