For the first time in Fiji – commercial outside broadcasting will be brought to your television sets.
The new initiative was launched last night by FBC CEO Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum during the 2DayFM – FBC corporate movie night.
Sayed-Khaiyum says the TV OB is intended to give consumers a live visual of products.
The TV OB will start in February with RB Patel, Vinod Patel – Home and Living and Shreedhar Motors.
“Just like you have radio OB’s, you go live on radio and do reports from supermarket and from other business outlets we can now do live TV OB’s as well and these will be done on Saturday. How it works is – if you have a business FBC will come over with its TV cameras and we will do a report from your premises and it will be live on your television. You can interact with the public on a live basis.”
He adds in 2017, FBC will be looking at taking the method of doing business to another level.
