The Fiji Broadcasting Corporation’s six radio stations have set up a three-day cash drive aimed to assist families who lost their homes in the recent Nabua fire in Suva on the 18th of this month.

Radio Programs Manager Shammi Lochan says the drive aims to help these families get back on track with their lives.

“We urge people to come and help these families who have lost homes in the recent fire in Nabua, so it’s going to be a three-day cash drive starting from today and finishes on Wednesday and we’re planning to do a hand-over on Thursday.”

A total of six families lost their homes.
