“The timing of this is quite strange. Just last week there’s this talk about FBC making loses between 2010 – 2015, did we make loses? Yes we did. There were book loses, a lot of it was based on depreciation and they were expected loses. We had also budgeted for the fact that we were going to start making profits from 2016 which we have, 2016 profits are just over $4million.”

He says the payout bonus is due to the profit made.

Sayed-Khaiyum adds that the company cannot do well without the input and the dedication of all FBC staff.

“We knew we had a lot of work to do, we did envisage it was going to be such a huge and mammoth task but I would personally like to pay tribute to a lot of the people who started off with us back then who have been patient.”

He says that the next bonuses the company is looking forward to the individual KPI bonus and the company performance bonus for 2017.
