FBC olympic coverage begins tomorrow

Fiji Broadcasting Corporation begins its coverage of the 2016 Rio Games tomorrow morning on 2 TV channels.

FBC TV will broadcast the football competition from 3.50am while FBC Plus on the digital platform will join coverage from 6.50am.

Chief Executive Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says this way, FBCTV can air the Olympics and maintain normal programming.

“What we’re trying to do is give the people of Fiji as much Olympics as possible without compromising the needs of our audience that may not want to watch the Olympics. We’ll go back to normal programming on FBCTV, but if you want to keep on watching, go on to FBC Plus.”

FBCTV will air live events from Rio while FBC Plus will cover all lives games as well as events which were not aired previously.

FBC Plus will also run daily replays once live coverage ends.
