The Fiji Broadcasting Corporation daily television news will now air at 7pm from this evening.
FBC Chief Executive Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum made the announcement this morning, saying FBC News will now reach the greater population especially the working class audience.
Sayed-Khaiyum says many people who reach home after 6pm often missed the news and with the new change in time, everyone will be able to keep updated with the latest news.
“In a very measured change, internationally popular shows that appeal to the young market such as Arrow, Supergirl, Flash etc. will now move to 6pm to start capturing the audience in anticipation for the 7pm news. This change will ensure that anyone arriving home early will be entertained and captivated by FBC TV’s top class shows and not be distracted by news on other channels.”
FBC is celebrating its 62nd year of existence this month.
