Staff of the Broadcasting House today gathered to plant fig trees, coconuts, vativa grass and other fruit trees at its AM transmission site in Naulu, Nakasi.

FBC’s Chief Executive Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says this is part of the broadcasting company’s contribution to help fight climate change.

Additionally, it will also beautify the 105 acres of land which the transmission sites on.

Sayed-Khaiyum adds this initiative is also important as his staff will benefit from the fruit trees once it’s harvested.
