Fiji Broadcasting Corporation Chief Executive, Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says that the company is expecting a bigger profit in 2017 and this year as well.
Sayed-Khaiyum says FBC was the first government statutory organization who finished their audit for the 2017 financial year.
He says that it takes time for a company to get back on its feet.
“The fact of the matter is, like any other company it took us a period of time to ensure that if we worked hard collectively as a group and with the new work culture and with a new mindset that we could achieve a lot of great things for the national broadcaster.”
Sayed-Khaiyum says that FBC was behind at one stage but is now taking the lead.
He adds that the company is expecting to pay out the FBC individual KPI bonus and company bonus for 2017, soon.
