Great News for the viewers around the country as Fiji Broadcasting Corporation’s 3rd free to air channel FBC 2 was officially launched on the Walesi platform last night.
Manager TV Operations, Vinal Raj, says FBC 2 is basically a public service broadcast channel.
“Some of the exciting programs coming up are from Australia plus TV NZ, there is some radio television stuff from Russia and other programs from other parts of the world. Other channels are more of a general entertainment channel whereas this one, as the name suggests is a public service broadcast channel so it has programs which are more focused on national development, agriculture and those sort of things.”
Raj says it has been a difficult journey for us as a TV company to reach this stage.
Meanwhile, FBC TV also celebrated its 6th birthday last night.
