Fault affects power supply

February 1, 2016 5:11 am

Most residents in Viti Levu are without power due to a fault in the Fiji Electricity Authority’s main 132,000 volts transmission line from Wailoa to Cunningham.

The FEA says its team is in the process of identifying the cause of the fault.

In the meantime, FEA has started restoring power supply using its backup diesel generators around Viti Levu.
