A 50-year-old man of Jittu Estate who slapped a five year old boy because he fought with his son was given a two months jail sentence suspended for 12 months.

Sefanaia Tubuna, charged with common assault pleaded guilty and sought forgiveness from the parents of the victim.

The offence took place on the 24th of July, this year.
