Father of two given second chance by court

A father of two has been given a chance to reform after he pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs.

Twenty-five year old Jone Toga appeared before Suva Magistrate Waleen George where he informed the court that he does not sell marijuana however he accepted in court that he uses it for own consumption.

Toga was arrested in Suva on 18th November last year after he was found to be in possession of 1.25grams cannabis sativa.

He asked for forgiveness and in mitigation told the court that he is married with two young children.

Magistrate George told Toga that the court is giving him another opportunity and discharged him accordingly.
