Police have identified the man who died in an accident at Laqere, Nasinu last night.

Director Traffic SSP Mahesh Mishra says the victim is a 25 –year- old residing in Tovata, Makoi and confirmation of his identity was made by his father.

The incident occurred at around 8pm where the man was hit by a bus that was on its way to Nausori.

The man was rushed to the CWM Hospital in Suva but was pronounced dead at around midnight.

The 40 year old bus driver has been questioned and police investigations continue.
