A 52 year old farmer is expected to appear at the Labasa Magistrates Court tomorrow charged with allegedly raping a 39 year old woman.

It’s alleged the victim was sexual abused on the 5th of this month by the suspect while she was sleeping at her sister’s house after lunch.

The 52 year old Labasa farmer has been charged with one count of rape.
