A farmer who is alleged to have rented a vehicle from a Rental car company in Nadera, Nasinu has been charged with one count of falsification of documents and one count of dishonestly causing a loss.

It’s alleged the farmer hired a rental car on November 25th, last year and presented a false purchase order to the rental car company.

The farmer also told the rental company the bills will be paid by the Prime Minister’s Office.

It’s alleged the man returned the car after twelve days, however, did not make any payments.

The man will appear at the Nasinu Magistrates Court this afternoon.
