President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau will be accorded a state farewell ceremony tomorrow.

A career soldier and diplomat, Ratu Epeli has been the head of state since 2009.

The farewell ceremony will be held at 2pm at the Coronation Grounds at Government House.

It can be watched live on FBC TV and will also be streamed online.

Parliament held a special one day sitting last month where his successor – Joji Konrote was appointed.

Konrote will be officially sworn in as President of Fiji at a ceremony to be held in the State Room at Government House on Thursday.
