The multimillion-dollar Nadi Fantasy Island development is almost completed says property owner Abbas Ali.

Speaking during the opening of the property’s convention center and bus bay area, Ali says the first two phases have been completed.

He says they’re now working on the commercial marina.

“So far I have invested $80 million and that’s not just to do with the marina but the entire foreshore development which is about 150 acres land that has been reclaimed for the development.”

Ali says the development will also include a gated community with security, waterfront residential lots and resorts.

He says Fantasy Island will also provide direct competition to Denarau Island and Naisoso.
