In his last conversation, his Grandfather was happy to be with his family in New Zealand.

“I spoke to him on Thursday. Whenever he was around I used to feel more relaxed. He used to take care of everything. I really miss him that I could talk to him the day he went for his jummah prayers in Christchurch but the night before on Thursday most of my family spoke with him but I was out at the taxi base.”

Ali commonly known as Babu had gone to New Zealand a week prior to the shooting.
