Police are requesting the public to be vigilant when trading cash, preferably notes, this festive season.

A fake twenty dollar note was discovered at a service station in Suva yesterday.

The discovery was made whilst the cashier was totaling the sales for the day.

It’s alleged that the fake note was received from a customer fueling his vehicle whilst at the station.

Investigations into the matter are continuing.
