The proposed new look of the Nadi Temple will give a better image of the Nadi Town entrance.
The half a million dollars beautification project will enhance the temple’s exterior view.
According to TISI Sangam Fiji Secretary General, Damend Gounder, the refurbishment will take eight to twelve months to complete.
“We’ve got a lot of work also on the exterior like the perimeter fences of the temple alongside Queens Road leading towards Suva is going to be replaced with new fencing , it’ll be all concrete fencing with a good landscape to make the entrance from Suva into Nadi much more beautiful.”
The temple will also have a vegetarian restaurant that will cater for sixty to eighty people.
Refurbishment works will begin next month.
