Extensive road works in Ovalau

Fulton Hogan Highways has been contracted to carry out extensive rehabilitation’s and sealing works in Ovalau.

Construction Manager Phil Tombs says it is a priority to get the work completed on time.

Local and overseas workers are involved in two weeks of sealing work on sections of the Ovalau circular Road which covers the entire island.

The road upgrade requires stabilizing and sealing work, landscaping to widen the road, drainage, footpath and concreting work.

This includes 3500 square meters of rehab and seal though Bureta Village, 4500 square meters of rehab and seal at Visoto Village, pre-seal repairs beginning from Levuka town to Waitovo Village.
