Fiji and Australia are long term trading partners and must work together to reach the full potential of the relationship.
This was highlighted by Trade Minister, Faiyaz Koya during the opening of the Fiji Australia Business Council Forum at the Marriott Resort in Momi Bay.
Koya says two way goods trade between the two countries reached over one billion dollars last year and around $187 million worth of Australian investments were registered.
He adds Fiji offers many opportunities in the traditional economic sectors as well as in the growing sectors like ICT, Manufacturing, Tourism, Mining, Food Processing and Resource based sectors to name a few.
