Eight experts from the Fiji National University’s Training and Productivity Centre will be part of an inaugural National Conference on Information Technology.
Director NTPC, Dr Isimeli Tagicakiverata says this year’s line-up has a great mix of IT experts – who will be sharing insights on the latest security trends, technical content and unique perspectives.
He says the conference theme “Digital Transformation Towards a Smarter Fiji” is in line with the Fijian Government’s roadmap on digital transformation of its services.
Dr Tagicakiverata says this comes as Fiji is shifting into the digital era.
Digital technologies around the globe is dramatically reshaping industries, many companies are pursuing large-scale changes in efforts to capture the benefits of these trends or simply to keep up with competitors.
The event be held this Friday at the Pearl South Pacific Resort in Navua.
