Fiji is experiencing the hottest weather in the last half a century, and it’s going to get hotter.

Health Minister Jone Usamate in a ministerial speech in parliament today has warned of the consequences of climate change on peoples’ health

“The summary of climate predictions for Fiji shows that temperature will continue to rise and the projection is for more very hot days and warm nights and a decline in cooler weather. We expect there will be an increase in both dry and wet seasons and sea level will continue to rise.”
