There will be rain today but that ease by tomorrow.

Thats the reassurance from the duty forecaster – Rajneil Prasad.

Prasad says the trough of low pressure which was over the Fiji group over the past days was responsible for the rain but by tomorrow, weather is expected to improve.

For most parts of Viti Levu, the weather has improved. And also for Kadavu. For the weekend, most parts of Fiji should be experiencing fine conditions and cool nights.

Prasad adds the heavy rain warning has been issued for the Southern Lau group and that is expected to ease later on.
