Expect a lot of live performances at the Music Festival

Fijians can expect a lot of live performances of various music genres at the Thurston Food and Music Festival in Suva tomorrow.

The festival aims to provide a platform for local musicians to showcase their talents and promote live music in the country

Knox Entertainment Co-Director, Inoke Kalounisiga says there will be performances from the likes of the Gang, Inside Out, The RelatiV, Knox Brotherhood, Nem & Talei, KKU and many others.

“Everyone’s been releasing stuff this year and it’s so exciting to get to see all the bands perform their new stuff and I am sure people are really looking forward it. For us as musicians, it’s always a beautiful platform to be able to get the message through to the people and do what we love doing. And to actually get the appreciation in return, so we’re really looking forward to tomorrow.”

Meanwhile, Fijians can expect eleven hours of non-stop music with lots of great food and entertainment.

Event Coordinator, Ellana Kalounisiga says tickets are $25 and it’s available at FBC, Ginger Café and the ROC Café.

Entry fee for children under 12 years is free and the event will start at 11am till 10pm at Thurston Garden in Suva.
