Along with building our resilience to climate change, the expansion of Fiji’s trade with the rest of the world is among government’s top priorities.
This was highlighted by Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama during the opening of the Fiji-Queensland Trade and Investment Symposium today.
Bainimarama stressed on the untapped potential that exists in the Fiji-Queensland relationship.
He says there are areas in which collective work can provide tailor-made investment solutions to benefit both economies.
He adds opportunities are particularly in the ICT, mining and agriculture industry, along with other productive sectors of the respective economies.
A high-level team of Fijian ministers, permanent secretaries and other senior officials are attending the Symposium in Queensland Australia to showcase what Fiji has to offer.
