The Education Ministry has confirmed all external exam results will be released before Christmas.
Minister Dr Mahendra Reddy says the next set of results will be for Year eight and ten students… which will be released at the latest on Monday week.
Dr Reddy says the Ministry is taking all precautions before the release of other external exam results… as it faced a lot of backlash with the results of Year Six.
“Similar problems were faced with Year 8 and 10 papers to some extent but we are fixing that now. All of them have been marked – so we are just now cleaning it out and resolving those kind of issues before we get the provisional results out.”
Dr Reddy says for Year six… the issue was more so at the school level – in particular with exam supervisors… however they are now working to avoid such situations in the future.
