EU/USP hold talks

The EU’s representative to the Pacific, Ambassador Andrew Jacobs has indentified three areas for the EU and USP are cooperation, issues relating to student mobility and the EU providing adhoc lectures at the university.

Jacobs said the EU and USP have a close working relationship but there are other where they can collaborate.

He made the comments at a meeting with a USP team led by Vice Chancellor, Professor Rajesh Chandra in Suva.

Chandra briefed the EU delegation about USP’s role as a higher education provider and as a regional integration organisation as outlined in its Strategic Plan 2013-2018.
