Escapees to be produced in Court today

Five out of the seven prisoners that escaped from Naboro Maximum Prison on the 24th of last month will be produced in court today.
Police Chief Intelligence and Investigations ACP Vakacegu Toduadua says five of the seven prisoners have been interviewed so far.
Toduadua says the five includes Ulaiasi Qalomai, Filipe Delana, Bainivalu Tuimatavesi, Josaia Usumaki and Mesulame Waqabaca while the other two will be interviewed later.
“The other two who are currently admitted, Peniasi Qalibau and Solomoni Qurai they are still admitted at the CWM hospital and they will be interviewed once they are medically fit to give their interviews and statements.”
The prisoners were recaptured within 24 hours.
Ulaiasi Qalomai, Filipe Delana, Peniasi Qalibau and Bainivalu Tuimatavesi are serving time for aggravated robbery, Josaia Usumaki is serving time for burglary and larceny while Solomoni Qurai and Mesulame Waqabaca are serving time for murder.
Qurai and Usamaki had also escaped from prison in 2012 and were involved in a robbery at the BSP Samabula Branch where $70,000 was stolen.
