Serving prisoner Tevita Qaqanivalu has been captured and back in police custody a day after he escaped from Naboro prison.

Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro has confirmed he was arrested in Vugalei, Lami this morning.

Qaqanivalu who was serving time for a series of burglaries and theft cases escaped from the Naboro minimum prison complex yesterday morning.
