The Fiji Society for the Blind has received visual aid equipment from the Australian Government to enhance its efforts to educate visually impaired children.
The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs Community Development representative, Iris Low-McKenzie says the visual aid equipment will help children to read and write.
“We understand the difference this will make to the lives of the children of the school. Disability-inclusive development is central to Australia’s effort in helping people overcome poverty in Fiji and the Pacific.”
