The stage has been set for this year’s Mirchi FM/Radio Fiji 2 Disco Dandia and Garba Night.

FBC’s Radio Programs Manager, Shammi Lochan says the annual event attracts Fijians to enjoy a night of dance and sharing love.

Lochan says this is an opportune time for many to have a good time with family and friends just before Diwali.

“Come and dance Garba, come and watch those dance groups competing with each other. Like I said Dandia is getting bigger and better every year. We have interest even from the Western Division, people are calling us from the North and we are expecting a huge crowd this year.”

The event will be hosted at Damodar City from 6pm and ends at 10pm this Saturday.

People will also get the opportunity to showcase their Dandia moves and join the radio personalities on the dance floor.
