FBC launches its BULA fm pull to win competition

The Fiji Broadcasting Corporation officially launched its Bula fm station – Drejia Me Lem or Pull to win competition in Suva today.

The competition which is in partnership with Carpenters Motors will give away a brand new Hyundai Tuscon Family SUV worth $63,000 as the major prize.

Bula FM Program Director, Salanieta Veilawa says the competition will start on the 18th of March – where listeners will have to call in to answer questions.

Veilawa adds that every Monday, announcers will draw one winner on the Breakfast show.

“And the final draw will be on 5th August – so by that time we will have a total of 20 winners who will participate in the actual competition. The participants will be required to stand, pull the coconut sennit or Magimagi which will be tied to the ram where the car will be park on with 20 minute break in every four hours for the first phase. After the second break, they will be required to take a full body squat and pull the coconut sennit for the second phase for 4 hours before the next break then repeat from the first phase until there is only one person remaining.”

 FBC Manager Radio, Shammi Lochan says Bula fm is Fiji’s number one rated radio station in the country and this will be an interesting competition.

 The competition will run for five months.
