Fiji has limited platforms for aspiring singers.

This was highlighted by 16-year-old Meghna Goundar who released her album “Kya Ho Gaya” in Suva yesterday.

Goundar says she intends to continue with her singing career along with her studies and intends to inspire all youngsters who aspire to become singers.

“My aim of doing all this is to encourage younger ones who are interested but are lacking some kind of effort. My aim is to encourage them to take a step forward as Fiji is not well known in Bollywood.”

The album consisted of five original romantic songs with the endorsement of the coveted T-Series label.
