June 2, 2018 5:05 am

Every department within the Ministry of Employment has to achieve their targets before the end of third quarter.

Employment Minister Jone Usamate says this is part of Key Performance Indicators – KPIs which the staff are briefed on and aware of.

Usamate says he is awaiting a report on how his Ministry is tracking to have a better understanding of where the ministry stands relative to the targets that was set for this year.

“We have boards all over my ministry where we have quarter targets and if you got a green against your particular target that means you are on track and if you got red then i don’t like it because red is a bad sign and i have seen as i walk around the red are reducing, there is more greens .Hopefully by the end of this third quarter i want to see as many greens as possible and that means every targets are being met.”

Usamate says this should be a priority not only to his ministry but others as well for the benefit of us all.
