Employees working on Election Day to cast their vote

November 12, 2018 6:16 pm

The Ministry of Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations is urging all employers not to prevent employees working tomorrow from casting their vote.

With tomorrow gazetted as a public holiday for the 2018 General Election, the Ministry further states that employers must make the necessary arrangements to ensure that their operations are not affected.

However, whether it’s early in the morning or later in the day, workers and employers must cast their votes before the closure of the polling venue.
