Emergency course for Correction officers

May 7, 2012 4:53 am

Twenty-six Correction officers began a three week Emergency Procedure Course with a 9.5km walk from Nabukavesi to Naboro this morning.

The twenty six, including four women will learn emergency procedures that
need to be followed when incidences like escapes occur at Correction centres.

Commissioner of Corrections Lieutenant Colonel Ifereimi Vasu thanked the officers and encouraged them to learn as much as they can during the course.

He says in doing so they will be able to carry out their responsibilities properly with urgency, efficiency and a lot more experience.
