“Australian Government for agreeing to send us two additional advisors specifically on logistics and ballot paper experts who will help us to plan the distribution of ballot papers and the second person will help us to program our logistics exercise And so far in terms of finance we have adequate finance available and we anticipate the second trench of money from Papua New Guinea to be reaching us shortly and that will bolster the finance capacity of the Fijian Elections Office.”

Papua New Guinea has committed $20.1 million toward preparations for the 2014 General Election.

The first payment of $6 million was made to the Elections Office in March.

A further $20 million will be discussed and dispatched in 2015.
