“The multi-national group has found that the 2018 General Election was fair and credible and that it reflected the will of the Fijian people. We also note that the multi-national observer group found that the conditions were in place for Fijians to exercise their right to vote freely and this means that the conditions for a free and fair election were met.”

Meanwhile, MOG released its report on the 2018 Election yesterday, calling it well-administered, with voting and counting transparent and credible.

The group noted that the security environment was peaceful and the campaign competitive, adding that conditions overall supported Fijians to exercise their right to vote freely and the outcome broadly represented the will of the voters.
