Elections office plans voting for military personnel

The Fijian Elections office is making plans for military personnel to vote in the September elections.

A statement from the Elections Office says a high level meeting was held on the matter today.

Supervisor Mohammed Saneem and his Deputy Michael Clancy met with the Land Force Commander Colonel Ratu Jone Kalouniwai.

Other senior officials of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces were also at the Fijian Elections Office today.

The meeting discussed polling arrangements for RFMF personnel serving in peacekeeping duties overseas.

No further details have been released.
