Eight volunteer teachers will be leaving for their volunteer teaching assignment in Nauru under the Fiji Volunteer Service program next month.

Of the eight, three will be engaged at the secondary level and five will be engaged at the primary level.

Employment Ministry Permanent Secretary, Salaseini Daunabunam, urged the group to impart their knowledge and skills into the education system in Nauru and open doors for other retiree teachers to register in the system.

The retirees received their air tickets from the Ministry yesterday.
