Muslims throughout Fiji will celebrate Eid-ul- Fitr today.

Fiji Muslim League has advised its members that the new moon was sighted last night and celebrations begin today.

Eid is celebrated after 30 days of fasting and prays during the month of Ramazan.

To mark the occasion, there will be feasting and sharing of sweets among Muslims and Fijians of all faiths.
