School managements are encouraged to conduct Annual General Meetings before 31st March 2019.

Education Minister Rosy Akbar says they must then forward their audited financial report to the Ministry of Education to allow for the timely release of the Term 2 Free Education Grant.

Akbar says school management and school heads are encouraged to utilize the Free Education Grant according to the policy.

She says faith based organizations and community run schools and school management are reminded to work with their newly appointed school heads to pave the way forward.

Akbar adds the Ministry is working collaboratively with all its stakeholders to ensure that no stones are unturned in delivering quality education to all students.

The Minister expressing her well wishes to all school heads, teachers, parents, school managements and students’ for the 2019 academic year.
